This display often fades in the A Class W169 and B Class W245. After a long drive, it is sometimes no longer possible to read anything at all. Individual lines or pixels also fail. This LCD display is connected to the circuit board using a terminal plug. Nothing needs to be soldered and should be relatively easy for the skilled hobby mechanic to replace. The display works with 7 volt control, which is the case for most instrument clusters. If you have the 8 volt version, you only need to solder in a small resistor. The resistor is always included and the instructions are then sent to you by email.
